Special Events & Experience Crew 2025-26 (Ages 16+)

SUMMARY

We are looking for fun, creative, patient, and friendly candidates ages 16 and up who would enjoy working with families and children by enhancing their guest experience during our world-renowned Cranapalooza festivities. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and a positive team player, meeting the qualifications below, and be willing to complete any of the following duties.  Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to apply.

Candidates must be available and willing to commit to Saturdays beginning in mid-December through February 28th, Sunday January 18th, and daily from December 24th through January 2nd, and February 16th through February 20th.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Be a positive, energetic presence at events, welcoming guests, answering questions, and getting people excited to be part of the Cranmore experience.
  • Assist with and monitor safe use of fire pits, including lighting, tending, and extinguishing them (ages 18+).
  • Host activities such as s’mores-making, games, and family-friendly programming.
  • Engage with children and families in a friendly, approachable way.
  • Support our DJ and other vendors by directing them to set-up locations.
  • Assist with our C-More mascot interactions, including guiding guest experiences, and stepping into the mascot role if needed.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting event space (trash removal, supply prep, etc.)
  • Share resort knowledge and help upsell Cranmore offerings.
  • Stand outdoors in winter weather for event shifts (2-3 hours) while dressed appropriately.

RESPONSIBILITY TO SAFETY

  • Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Cranmore Mountain Resort guests at all times.
  • Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
  • Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
  • Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of you or others.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must be 16+ years old.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills; outgoing and approachable.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time in cold weather.
  • Able to lift 35lbs and carry short distances.
  • Reliable transportation; must be able to get to work in snowy conditions.
  • Safety-conscious, responsible, and able to follow instructions.
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about creating memorable experiences.
